This week my brother had to perform at the cda resort for the festival of trees. This event is sponsored so that money will be given to cancer patients at the kootenai medical center. Schools perform in the choir and others in the marimba categories. Different schools in the district make trees with a theme and they come with lots of gifts and treats. Mostly rich people come and bid on them so that they can help people with cancer. They have snacks, performances, and other games for kids. Also there were other drawings for prizes.

Good coverage of the event. In your writeup you mention all the people at the event, yet they are absent from the photos? If the people are the big part of an event, you need to photograph them!
Good attention to detail on the trees, often people look at the whole tree and fail to look at the individual details.
